Shipboard sewage pumps are also sometimes called dirty water pumps, gray water pumps, sewage pumps and sewage transfer pumps, drainage pumps or dewatering pumps.
Sewage pumps, as their name suggests, are used to transfer wastewater and dirty wastewater to a disposal site on ships or boats.
